CLASSES - HANDS-ON COOKING CLASSES
Private Hands-on Cooking Classes...Fill your tummy and tickle your funny bone at the New Orleans School of Cooking! These cooking classes are custom designed to meet the food preference of the individual. Our guests actually cut, cook, and prepare a complete dinner with one of our expert chefs, and afterwards they are able to sit down and enjoy the meal they have just created.
Our Hands-on classes are available Monday-Sunday (7 days), at anytime. All hands-on classes are private and require a minimum of 8 people. The classes are three hours long and include preparation of 4 menu items, the recipes, a New Orleans School of Cooking apron, as well as, house red and white wine, Abita beer and root beer, iced tea, and coffee. And of course, once the work has been done, sit down and enjoy!
Hands-on classes are perfect for family reunions, school groups, corporate clients or a fun alternative to just going out to eat. If you would like to throw in a little competition, we also offer our hands-on classes in a teambuilding format. The guests are divided up into groups and each group is designated a course of the meal which they must prepare. The guests are then judged on teamwork, taste and presentation.|
