Make Your Mouth Happy - Welcome to the Fun, Food & Folklore of the New Orleans School of Cooking! We are located in the heart of the French Quarter, between Decatur Street and Charters Street, Just three blocks from Jackson Square. Walking distance to all French Quarter Hotels and most downtown properties.

Our entertaining classes and the Louisiana General Store are located in a renovated molasses warehouse built in the early 1800's. The site was originally occupied by one of the earliest known residences in the city.

At The New Orleans School of Cooking, we teach the basics of Louisiana cooking in a way you'll never forget. Fun is the primary ingredient in our kitchen! Our Creole/Cajun experts teach New Orleans specialties and season them with history, tall tales and trivia. Young chefs will be sure to love this creative hands- on cooking event. These private events can accommodate groups of ten to fifteen children.

• A Three hour event

• Apron decorating with the chef
• Hands on Cooking with our talented chef

The meal will be served with Iced Tea, Water and Abita Root Beer. Take home recipes are also provided.

The New Orleans School of Cooking does require at least one adult chaperones per five children, adult chaperone must be 18 years or older. Parking is not provided by the New Orleans School of Cooking but convenient parking lots are located adjacent to the Jackson Brewery.
