Special participation classes are available for groups of 8 or more. You’ll do more than just watch and eat- after all, you’re the chef! You will be cutting, chopping, and sautéing a full meal. You may select a four course meal from our delectable menu options, or you have the option of creating your own menu with the aid of our staff. After the hard work is done, you will dine on what you have created. These classes are not limited to “foodies;” a great time will be shared by all!
Our Hands-on classes are available Monday-Sunday (7 days), at anytime. All hands-on classes are private and require a minimum of 8 people. The classes are three hours long and include preparation of 4 menu items, the recipes, a New Orleans School of Cooking apron, as well as, house red and white wine, Abita beer and lemonade, iced tea, and coffee. And of course, once the work has been done, sit down and enjoy!
Hands-on classes are perfect for family reunions, school groups, corporate clients or a fun alternative to just going out to eat. If you would like to throw in a little competition, we also offer our hands-on classes in a team-building format. The guests are divided up into groups and each group is designated a course of the meal which they must prepare. The guests are then judged on teamwork, taste and presentation.
